From LA/Southern California
- Take 101 North towards Santa Barbara and then to Goleta
- Pass the city of Santa Barbara (you will see exits for “downtown,” etc. and exit “UCSB/Airport (Highway 217, which will be after the exits Turnpike and Patterson)
- Stay in the left-hand lane on Highway 217 and follow straight to end – this highway ends at the main entrance to the campus and at the parking kiosk on the left.
- Immediately after the kiosk, get into the left-hand lane
- Turn LEFT at the traffic light, onto Lagoon Rd.
- Follow briefly, and turn RIGHT onto UCen Rd. (Small blue street sign on the right)
- Follow UCen Rd. briefly (over speed bumps) until road makes sharp left turn.
- There is a pink building in front of you – this is the MCC
- To your right is a parking lot. Find a parking space, take note of the # of the stall, and be sure to avoid parking in any stalls marked “A,” “S” or “At All Times.” Purchase a parking permit at the machine in the lot and place that permit in the windshield.
Note: permit machines do not give change.
