The current climate has forced a new reality on all of us though the impacts vary significantly based on one’s positionality and privilege. While some are experiencing challenges and suffering for the first time, many others have known these challenges for generations. Instead of looking forward to getting back to “normal” let’s use this moment as an opportunity to imagine a new normal where community is centered over individuality and people are centered over profits. This workshop will highlight the systemic issues that COVID 19 is bringing to light and encourage participants to commit to a new way of being that reflects a new normal.
